Enel Green Power (EGP) entrusts the construction of another wind farm to CJR Renewables
The Rihue Wind Farm, in Chile, is EGP's new wind farm, with 106 MW, which will have CJR Renewables as the Balance of Plant (BoP) constructor.
With the project start-up scheduled for the second quarter of 2022, CJR Renewables will carry out all civil and electrical works on the Rihue Wind Farm, including 21 foundations and platforms, accesses and the medium voltage grid.
Located in Negrete, in the Biobío region, "this park will also include around 30 MW of storage batteries, thus presenting itself as a leading-edge project in the wind energy sector. This is something that naturally makes us very excited. We very positively welcome the trust placed in us by ENEL Green Power. We started this partnership with EGP in 2013, based on a strategy of partnership and joint support, and we are extremely proud to be an integral part of its ambitious portfolio and strategy growth” said Nuno Carvalho, Regional Manager.
The Rihue Wind Farm will house 21 Goldwind wind turbines of 5.05 MW each, thus totaling 106 MW of installed power.
