CJR Renewables completes the 13 foundations of the Wielkopolska Wind Farm (PE), in Poland.
For the team, this project has been quite challenging with "large numbers involved. So far, we have completed the construction of access roads, thirteen foundations and thirteen platforms. I remember that, due to the project being divided into five locations (Kalisz, Krotoszyn 1, Krotoszyn 2, Jarocin and Pepowo), in a 40 km perimeter, the logistics involved were enormous, but being close to completion is something that makes us very satisfied", said Henrique Araújo, Project Manager.
For Luís Alves, Construction Manager, this project takes on greater importance due to the “difficulty of connecting to the grid in 5 different substations, which means that the cable works had to be coordinated in 6 regions and 8 municipalities. Thus, crossing 6 railways, 2 national roads, as well as the main oil and gas pipelines of an urban infrastructure in 3 large cities. Currently, the team is finalizing the arrangements for the temporary areas, with two wind turbines already installed and awaiting the restoration of the landscape”. ???????
The Wielkopolska wind farm will have an installed capacity of 26 MW and CJR Renewables is responsible for the entire BoP (civil works), including 13 foundations, 13 platforms, 54 km of Medium Voltage Line (168 km of MV Cables) and 10 km of access roads. Commissioning is scheduled for the first semester of 2022.
