CJR Renewables completed the construction of the Renaico II Wind Farm, with an installed capacity of 134.4 MW, located in Araucanía, Chile.
With Enel as a client, CJR Renewables was responsible for all the Balance of Plant works of the park, including 32 platforms and foundations, 23 km of accesses, 32 km of trenches and 194 km of medium voltage cables. Alongside these civil works, CJR Renewables also carried out the EPC for the expansion of the Renaico II substation.
The completion of this project represents a fundamental step towards the delivery of sustainable energy to communities, with the provision of clean energy to 230,000 Chilean homes, thus avoiding the emission of 382,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
CJR Renewables is one of the main market leaders in Chile's wind industry, having built more than 1GW of wind energy projects in the country.
