Spanish electric utility company Iberdrola has selected CJR Renewables to build the 13MWp and the 27MWp Photovoltaic Plant lots.
The two PV plants (part of Iberdrola’s awarded projects during the 2019 solar PV auction held in Portugal) are located in the Municipalities of Palmela and Setúbal. CJR Renewables will perform the engineering, procurement, and construction works, including all civil, electrical, and mechanical specialities, with the exclusion of the PV Modules and Central Inverters supply.
For the Head of Commercial, Alexandre Maçãs, this award is meaningful. “We are extremely pleased to have been selected to perform these works. This agreement is fully aligned with our market strategy and, the fact that we are doing it with such an important player as Iberdrola, it’s just the cherry on the cake. The cooperation between the two companies during the negotiation stage has been excellent, allowing us to reach a very positive agreement for both parties. My sincere compliments to everyone involved in this process. Our team is now preparing the construction phase, and we are looking forward for future cooperation opportunities.” The construction of the 13MWp and the 27MWp PV Plants are expected to start this month and will have in total a 27 weeks construction schedule.
