Cooperate and coordinate political, diplomatic and business action to respond to this global crisis, as well as find common challenges to build common bridges were some of the goals of the Latin -American Meeting, where politicians and businessmen from Colombia, Spain and Portugal were present.
CJR Renewables, was present at "Trade, Investment and Innovation" discussion panel and through Nuno Carvalho, explained the company's ability to act externally and the strategy developed. "Currently, we are leaders in our market performance in Peru and Chile, and we are already developing our entry into Colombia, where, in 2021, we will start a new project (...) our business success, in addition to our technical capabilities and knowledge, is much due to the partnerships we have developed. We integrate the market and its local communities, creating jobs, boosting the economy and local commerce, with the purchase of materials or services." Nuno Carvalho also mentioned the importance of Renewable Energy in the current pandemic context. "Undoubtedly, we also felt the impact of COVID-19 on our activities, but we decided to look at this crisis as an opportunity to grow, and we took the moment to empower our people, enhancing an even more specialized corporate culture. For the future, it is our belief that the acceleration of the energy transition, by the economic development it incites, is undoubtedly a solution for the world economic recovery".
This year, the event was restricted to 25 guests among businessmen, diplomats and leaders of Portugal, Spain and Colombia as other invited countries. The international presences made their participation through digital platforms.
