Located 600 km from Santiago de Chile, in a southern region, this wind farm will count with CJR Renewables for the execution of all BoP and Substation EPC works.
A total of 32 foundations will be required to support 32 Goldwind wind turbines, of 4.2 MW each. These foundations will be divided into two different locations (13 foundations in Las Viñas and 19 in Puelche), that will take 23.5 km of access roads and 194 km of medium voltage cables for interconnection. This work will be carried out by CJR Renewables Wind / BoP teams, led by Nuno Xavier, who considers this to be "a challenging project, since it has a very tight schedule and with some difficulties, such as, for example, the high level of water during winter", but above all "exciting, because we will certainly pass these tests with distinction".
In addition to this work, the Power & Grid team will also see its capability challenged, with the substation (220/33 kV) ampliation works that will involve all civil and electrical works. In order to comply with the planned schedule, the team intends to "show, once again, that there are no impossible jobs, there are bridgeable obstacles", says Bruno Gata, responsible for the Business Unit.
