4th edition of the annual conference took place in Nairobi (Kenya)
CJR Renewables was present at the 4th edition of the annual conference Power Tech Africa, which took place in Nairobi, Kenya, in the past days 30th and 31st January.
The strategic business conference on renewable energy expansion, in the sub-Saharan region, assembled more than 100 participants, during the two days of program.
The speakers' interventions promoted important discussions, focused on politics, regulation and upcoming opportunities in the field of solar, wind and geothermal energy, in the region cited above, particularly with regard of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, etc.
CJR Renewables participation in this important conference, represented by Edgar Arieira, head of New Business & Investment Department, and Osvaldo Coelho, New Business & Investment - Africa, resulted in a significant opportunity of networking and new information assimilation.
Apart from the participation in the conference, CJR Renewables employees had meetings with two investment companies in the field of renewable energy, Finergreen and Arch Partners, promoting, this way, the alignment with the company strategy of expansion and internationalization.
According to Osvaldo Coelho, "the conference reiterated what we have been absorbing from the market studies we undertake in CJR Renewables", "renewable energy market, which has been arousing interest in Africa, in the last years, particularly in Kenya, is more and more prominent in the government plans".
Besides, as Osvaldo Coelho emphasizes, "most speakers were connected to governments and to the state plan, a few were from the private sector".
CJR Renewables participation in Power Tech Africa 2020, as in other events of this type, respects the organization values, namely the eagerness to do well, more and better, with a watchful eye on its surroundings, in order to draw the necessary conclusions to be highly effective, accurate and complete in the adopted procedures.
