About eight members of CJR Renewables were part of the WTG dismantling team in Pampilhosa da Serra, Portugal. According to Cátia Fernandes, responsible for QHSE of installation department, this project was "a challenge because, on the one hand, it was a zone of strong winds, on the other hand, since the lifting points of the nacelle were damaged, the difficult to disassemble in safety were complex. In the dismantling of the sections the elevation accessories were also damage which force us to draw, develop and manufacture new ones".
Also, the slippery floor, due to the oil spill coming from the nacelle and the presence of burned glass throughout the area, contributed to the increased difficulty of the tasks.
This dismantling service, which lasted about a week, included WTG team, cranes and transport.
