Another project in Jamaica: 24 MW

CJRWind was awarded with the BoP works for Wigton III Wind Farm - Jamaica (24 MW - 12 WTG's GAMESA G80 2MW).


This is a turn-key project  that includes the development of all detailed engineering, execution of all civil and electrical works, supply and assembly of all associated facilities and equipment’s:
- Earth movements;
- WTG’s foundations;
- Platforms;
- Access and roads;
- Cable trenches;
- Collector Networks: Medium Voltage, Earthing and Communications;
- WF Substation, Control Building and High Voltage Yard;
- Development and implementation of SPCC and Communications System with Local Utility.
With this project connected with the grid, the Jamaican installed capacity in wind raises up to 102.25MW and CJRWind strengthens its presence in this market, continuing a first project implemented in 2010. By the end of 2015 CJRWind can proudly say that was involved in the construction of 76.6% of the total installed wind capacity in Jamaica.
