CJR Wind is building the longest underground line in Poland

CJRWind just started the construction of an underground line, which after will be the longest underground line in Poland has an overall length of 38 km.
CJRWind just started the construction of the evacuation 110kV Line that will allow the connection of the Wind Farm Lotnisko, who´s client is PGE (Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A.). The HV line will cross Wicko, Nowa Wieś Lęborska, Choczewo, Gniewino and Krokowa  Municipalities in the Pomorskie voivodeship, Poland.

The line will connect the Wind Farm Lotnisko to the 400/110 kV Substation Żarnowiec, owned by the System Operator’s distribution grid (PSE). 

The line, which after construction will be the longest underground line in Poland has an overall length of 38 km, it will be equipped with two cables per phase and will be prepared to evacuate a total power of 240 MW. 

Lotnisko Wind Farm will have on this first phase a total power of 90 MW and the capacity of this line will allow future expansions of the wind farms owned by PGE in this region. The construction it´s expected to be finalized by the end of May.
